1. Spend time in prayer everyday. You have an appointment with God. Intimacy with God comes first before anything else.

2. Read and study your bible.

3. Your responsibility as a leader is to encourage your team. Include everyone. Give them a specific and important role to play. Give each person a specific job to do so they know that their presence makes a difference and they matter to the team. Make them feel welcome. Speak to every individual on your team. Let them know they are a valuable asset to your team. Don't play favorites. Don't just talk to the ones you like and get along with. Say good morning to each individual and shake their hand. Make eye contact.

4. Remember that God has anointed you for service. The anointing destroys the yoke. Isaiah 10:27

5. Share the Love of Jesus Christ with all you come in contact with. His Love is what draws people in.

The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying:

“Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love;

Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you Jer. 31:3
